The 2019 Pennsylvania State Sunday School Convention will be held on Saturday, November 2nd, at Antrim Brethren In Christ Church, 24 Kauffman Road, Chambersburg, PA (Franklin County).

The 2019 event will follow a one-day format.  The convention will begin on Saturday morning with an Opening Devotional Session, featuring Rd. Dr. Ronnie Tucker, a well-known and highly-respected pastor and educator from Chambersburg, PA.  Dr. Tucker was the speaker at last year's convention, and due to many requests, we have invited him to speak again at this year's convention.

The rest of Saturday will be dedicated to workshop training.  There will be four 70-minute workshop periods, with from five to seven different workshops in each period.  Each workshop period will include training programs for teachers of children, teachers of youth, teachers of adults, church and Sunday school leaders and general interest programs, too.

Everyone is welcome and invited to attend.

GENERAL INFORMATION 
About The 2019 State Sunday School Convention

Who Should Attend?  All interested persons are welcome!  Sunday school teachers and leaders, pastors and other Christian education workers are especially encouraged to attend.  Registration is required for all persons attending.

Location & Directions - The host church for this year's convention is Antrim Brethren In Christ Church, 24 Kauffman Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.  The church is located just off Route 11, between Chambersburg and Greencastle.  If you need additional directions, call the P.S.S.S.A. office (717-652-1930).

Accommodations - There are a number of hotels and motels in the Chambersburg area.  For more information, contact the P.S.S.S.A. office (717-652-1930).

Lunch - A delicious lunch will be served by the host church.  The menu for the lunch will be as follows:  pulled pork or barbequed sandwich, macaroni, green beans, fruit and cobbler.  The cost is $10.00 per person.  Reservations and prepayment are required for all persons.  Reservations must be received by October 25th.  

Exhibits & Displays - Again this year we have invited a number of Christian publishing companies, other resource providers and organizations to have displays at the convention.  NOTE:  If your organization is interested in having a display at the convention, contact the P.S.S.S.A. office (717-652-1930).

Handicapped Access - The host church is a large, modern facility that has elevators between the two floors of the building.  Handicapped parking is also available.

"Individual Registrations" are $25.00 per person (the lunch costs are extra).

"Church Registrations" allow any number of persons from the same church to attend the convention for a single payment of $125.00 (lunch costs are extra).  A list of the names and addresses of all persons attending under a "church registration" MUST be sent or E-mailed to the P.S.S.S.A. office by October 25th.
