How much time does it take to read the entire Bible...from Genesis to Revelation? If you would read the Bible at standard pulpit speed (slow enough to be heard and understood) the reading time would be seventy-one hours. If you would break that down into minutes and divide it into the 365 days of the year, you could read the entire Bible...cover to cover...in only twenty minutes a day.
Think about all of the things that you do throughout the day. Think about the time that you spend watching TV, about the amount of time that you spend checking and sending messages on your smartphone, and the time that you spend just sitting around doing nothing. Yes, we are all very busy, but can you honestly say that there is no place in your schedule that you couldn’t find just twenty minutes to read God’s Word?The Bible is God’s Holy Word! It is our Christian handbook, our guide and a roadmap for our daily walk with Jesus. And, if you don’t know the handbook, how can you possibly live the life as God expects you to live?Questions To Think About: When you are facing a major problem or concern, where do you turn for help? Do you know how to effectively use the Bible to find answers to the questions and concerns that you have?
